Celeb's bedroom is 'sanctuary'

June Sarpong took time out to tell the Observer about how the bedroom is the quintessential personal space for her.
The former T4 presenter identified the room as having a "strong female bias" but with a neutral colour scheme, serving as the perfect base to get ready for a big night out.
Embracing technology, June also prefers to use the area to use her laptop for leisure or work as she has recently launched a news website, politicsandthecity.com.
However, she disagrees with the popularity of televisions in society, adding that even though her main trade was TV, it is not something that she engages with often - and cannot understand why other people need it on to fall asleep.
She said: "I don't have a TV in my bedroom because I think it should be a place where you're able to get in touch with yourself, and television tends to hinder that."
June told the Press Association earlier this month that her new website is aimed at getting women into politics and activism by engaging the gender in a way that appeals to them.
