Time for a new mattress?

Buying a mattress can be complicated, a reporter has said, but it cannot be said that one is not spoiled for choice.
Gail Park outlined the core basics of what is needed in a mattress, including the foam type, coil system and depth or thickness of layers, continuing to emphasise the fact that as long as it was comfortable, it was good for the user.
In a report for the Lake Oswego Review, Ms Park interviewed a local seller in Oregon.
During the talk, the manager of American chain BedMart, Tim Dolan, said that heat-sensitive mattresses made from memory foam offered a lot for the user.
He said: "It becomes firm where the body needs it and soft to cradle and cushion the body.
"It envelops the sleeper and takes away the pressure points and reduces the body''s need to toss and turn."
Memory comfort specialists My Foam Mattress said that memory foam mattress toppers were a good option for those wanting to save money, with the average topper lasting between 1.5 to three years.
