Turning one''s bedroom into a sanctuary is necessary for rest and relaxation this winter, it has been noted.
Using the bedroom as a soothing space can benefit the wellbeing of a person and make them more comfortable, the Press & Journal stated.
Tips and tricks to make a room more relaxed included the use of schemes usually found in hotels that allow a person to feel comfortable in bed, perhaps even kitting out the wardrobe with a few new clothes.
It added that bed linen that looked luxurious but did not damage the wallet was another great way to usher in the new season.
"Our natural inclination at this time of year is to hibernate and escape the chill winds outside - and the current gloomy financial situation is surely helping to heighten that feeling," the news provider said.
