Insomnia tips offered

A writer has offered a range of sleeping tips to those suffering the perils of insomnia, with millions of people susceptible to a lack of rest.
In an article for online resource the Healthy Solution, Sean Saunders said that caffeine, alcohol and tobacco were three stimulants that were much better avoided for the sake of one''s health and improved sleep.
He added that a firm bed coupled with a strong sleeping routine were central to consistently good rest, adding that sleeping in was not a great thing as it affected one''s schedule and body clock.
Finally, warm milk and a bath are recommended as great things to give a person the right level of relaxation before bedtime.
Mr Sanders added: "The bath will relax you, while the warm milk will soothe jagged nerves, thereby relaxing you even further.
"It''s a highly effective relaxation combo, so use it whenever you really need a good night''s rest."
MayoClinic said that relying on sleeping pills for more than a few days was not recommended by doctors, who prefer to invest time in behavioural therapies.
