Sleepwalking singer survives three-storey fall A popular Ugandan singer has survived a three-storey fall during a bout of sleepwalking while staying at a hotel over the weekend, it has been reported.

Jose Chameleon was visited by over 100 fans who flocked to send their good wishes to the star who was resting in the Nsambya Hospital in Kampala, the capital city of Uganda.

"All I remember is entering my hotel room after my show," Chameleon told Rwanda''s New Times, who last pictured himself changing his clothes and laying down in bed.

"I was also shocked to find myself on the first floor where the restaurant is located surrounded by people who were calling me a thief."

The singer sustained two broken legs and is likely to spend three months in a wheelchair, with wife Daniela Mayanja believing he will be fully recovered soon.

According to Uganda Online, Chameleon primarily sings in Swahili and has won a number of local and international awards for his music.
