''Almost nobody'' getting right amount of sleep

Only one in ten people are getting the correct amount of sleep each night, it has been revealed.
Although people are told to get eight hours of rest a night, most are finding it difficult to get into bed on time, with 89 per cent of respondents not getting the rest they need, according to a study of over 1,000 people by Empathy Research.
In the study carried out for Pharmaton, it was revealed that a further 62 per cent were finding it difficult to get themselves out of bed in the morning.
Furthermore, more than half admitted to losing focus when at work due to a lack of sleep on the night before.
Another 83 per cent of employees around the country added that they suffered from a "lack of vitality" as they were not well-rested.
Health specialists MayoClinic recommended that people stopped themselves from napping during the day as it could "steal hours from night-time slumber".
